DJ Junglefever

This multi-cultural Junglist has been dj-ing and promoting D&B/Jungle/Breakcore since 2001 at his residencies, raves and venues across Europe. He got interested in audio production in 2006, which led to releasing on a couple of compilations and performing as a live act in 2007, using his laptop and some controllers.

Since 2010, he runs and co-owns two small Ragga-Jungle vinyl labels:
Lickshot Recordings with Bong Selecta- a ragga-jungle label focussing on vibey yard music, and Bomba Cut Recordings with Stivs- a junglecore label dedicated to make hardcore mashed up ragga-jungle.

He also performs and produces with partner in crime Rob Raider, under the alias VRS. By syncing up their gear, they aim to create cutting edge dance music influenced by d’n’b/jungle/breakcore/dubstep and much more- breaking all boundaries.
On stage, you can expect an exclusive mashup of unreleased dubs when playing live or banging and tight dj-sets when bringing out his vinyl collection.

Ernesto & Sonny

DJ’s Ernesto and Sonny (Plexat)

These 2 DJ’s are not often found behind the decks together anymore, so Acid Forest is excited that they will combine their forces once more!!
Sonny and Ernesto are still active in the background and have been around for quite some time now. Since they were infected by the house virus in the late 80’s/90’s, their passion for it has not changed.
They started in the club scene and were soon influenced by the more obscure styles. Instead of just partying, they also wanted to learn how to spin vinyl. Around 96′ they got to know the Free Tekno movement that had just blown over from England. Inspired by the parties of Spiral Tribe, Mononom, and Teknozems, they wanted to actively participate in this movement themselves.

Jack Wax

Jack Wax is a Dutch acid techno artist whose label group of record labels (more than 30 and counting) has been receiving strong support throughout Europe in the Techno and Acid dance music scenes. His vision for uniting strong teams of artists on releases hasn’t gone unnoticed and his own productions and DJ skills are firmly established well beyond his homeland of the Netherlands, as his records pick up attention all over the world. Born in 1976 in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, as a child Jack Wax (J. de K.) was always consumed with music. Tape-decks, record-players and radios were never safe as Jack was always tinkering, fascinated by sound… He started making music when he was 12 on old computers including the MSX & Amiga, and after that on a PC. After honing his skills as a DJ, Jack Wax entered the Dutch Techno scene in 2007. After a long period of illness (Hodgkin) in 2008 he decided to start his own record label, and this propelled him forward in the dance scene. In 2024; he started a new job @ Triple Vision Records Distribution in Rotterdam; where he upholds socials and plans inhouse labels like: Planet Rhythm.

His style as a DJ has always been based on melodic Acid Techno and even today his sets can range from pumping Acid Hard Techno/Acid Tekno to deep funky Acid Techno. Marked and well rounded with his beastly mixing techniques on 2 Technics decks and 2 CD players, Jack’s sound is instantly recognisable, featuring many of his own melodies and compositions within his DJ sets. Still evolving and growing as a DJ & Producer, Jack Wax continues to bring the old school vibes back into his productions and DJ sets, which gain attention wherever he goes.
Releases so far on different labels include: Flatlife Records, Zodiak Commune Records, Acid A GoGo, Stay Up Forever, RAT Records, Braingravy Records, Scythe Squadron, Yin Yang Records, Hypnohouse Purple, Astraltech, Twidl Records, Ton Tek Records, Hypnohouse Trax, Underground Noise Records and much more to come!!!

Light design and DJ-set

A collector of raw, gritty, and unconventional electronic and acoustic soundscapes from realms beyond the ordinary.
Co2RO has been an active member of the Doublecross Collective and a part-time collaborator with numerous sound systems specializing in spatial design, lighting, and sound since 1996.

Co2RO turns contrasts such as ‘light and heavy’ and ‘light and dark’ into manageable tools.
Add these tools to an arsenal of obscure and rarely available analog projectors and lamps and behold the prism, or better yet, the realm where Co2RO breathes life into otherwise bloodless spaces.
Always within a new and self-contained environment.
Always under—let’s call ’em—‘adventurous’ circumstances.
And always using a method that is absolutely unruly.
As every Co2RO installation is explicitly laborious
.
Like a birth operation performed under extremely difficult circumstances, throwing even the most experienced doctor off balance. A metaphor not as far-fetched as you might think as each time Co2RO sets up his control room, an autonomous and authentic consciousness is born and for the first time will see the light.

Slowly moving from the dance floor from the scenery into the machinery, handling various light projectors to enhance party vibes on many lucid occasions for the sake of play and the altered state.
Shifting occasionally behind the decks & playing amongst (Wirwar) friends embracing the madness and realising that the kaleidoscope of musical colours never dims.

Flying along the Wirwar posse and being Resident Dj under various names in Ollie’s bar and being part of The Citronics @ Alcatrash & The Honeypot TriAngle @ WORM, é is always searching for the phantasmagorical.

BAT’ART

Last year he could not make it at Acid Forest. So now he is totally fired up to make his appearance.
Bat’art starts making music in 2009, after discovering the free parties in 2004.
From then he is developing his own music style, a mixture of hardcore tekno with tribal sounds and a touch of jungle.
He has released tracks on many labels like: Koncept Kore, Nanopulse, Singularity Records, Hashtek23, Yaya 23 Records, Transelucid, Utopirates, Okuma Records and more.

The free party virus infected this DJ and Producer in the early nineties. Member of the Utrecht based Proces Kabaal Soundsystem. For many years they threw parties in every corner of Europe.
For 30 years this old geezer has been ripping up the dance floor with a mix of dirty high energy tekno/ acid / hardcore.
Of Course it will be an old school vinyl only set!

DJ and producer extraordinary from the Netherlands has been rocking dedicated crowds from Toronto to London, Brussels, all the way back to Amsterdam and the rest of Europe.

When it comes to his DJ sets, MAC-V draws a wide palette of obscure music ranging from crispy Jungle to gritty Drumfunk, UK Garage, Breaks, Drum and Bass and more… His style traverses a spectrum that shifts from the eerie and the dark to the deeper and lusher vibes.

Crossing genres with ease, MAC-V knows how to come correct and give the listener
something they didn’t know they needed and surely won’t ever forget.
